A unique after hours event at SEA LIFE London Aquarium with Yoga with Daria
Thursday 7th March, 6.30pm-8.30pm, 50% of all sales going to The SEA LIFE Trust

Join Yoga with Daria, for Yoga Under the Sea. Get up close and personal with your favourite exotic sea species at London’s Aquarium while practising a flowing Yoga sequence based on the Water Element.

Expect to plunge, flow and glide into postures alongside marine creatures going about their daily lives. We invite you to leave the city behind and meander your way into this oasis of calm of relaxation. It’s not every day you get to stretch surrounded by seahorses and stingrays! In the practice of compassion, 50% of each ticket sold will be donated to the SEA LIFE Trust to help support their important work.

6.30pm-7pm
Arrival and exclusive tour of some of London Aquarium’s most loved animals en route to the class by a representative from The SEA LIFE Trust. (Please arrive dressed for the practice)

7pm-8.30pm
Yoga Class, Meditation and Relaxation

Yoga will take place in front of our LARGEST tank with around 1million litres of water. Look out for:

Sand tiger sharks
Nurse sharks
Betty our Bowmouth guitarfish
Reef sharks
Southern stingray
Mangrove ray

British researchers from Plymouth University and the University of Exeter collaborated with the National Marine Aquarium to monitor changes in people’s physical being and mental health after a stint of aquarium-gazing. After watching marine life at the National Marine Aquarium, participants had a reduction in both heart rate and blood pressure.

All levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat – fish themed leggings a plus! Please be prompt, as late arrivals may be turned away without a refund so as not to disrupt the class. Please show your confirmation ticket on arrival. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, no shows or late arrivals. Space is limited, so please book early as we expect to reach capacity prior to class.
