A series of yin yoga workshops relating to the chakras – can be done individually or as a group.
Anahata – everyone’s favourite chakra! The heart chakra
In this 2 hour yin yoga workshop we will explore poses that are related to the heart chakra; when balanced and flowing freely this is the most powerful of all the chakras, it gives us the ability to love ourselves and others whole heartedly and unconditionally.
There may be tears and revelations as we spend this workshop in heart openers and neck and shoulder stretches. The element associated to the heart is ‘air’ – and as we move from the solid tangible elements of earth, water and fire into air (and space in the upper two chakras) it is important to stay grounded and rooted so that we don’t fly away from ourselves into the ether.
Eat a light lunch before you come and practice: don’t come on an empty stomach or on a bursting one please!
We’ll head up to Love Shack for vegan dinner and tea and cake and chats afterwards – there’s also an acro yoga class at Love Shack on Sunday afternoons so feel free to join in with the fun there too!
