4. Easts Rugby Union Club

Established at a town hall meeting in 1900. 200 Eastern Suburbs residents came to hear Colonel J.C. Nield make his case for a local rugby club. To this day, Easts Rugby is the oldest district rugby union club in Australia.

5. Warringah Rugby Club

Located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney & compete for the Shute Shield in the NSW Premiership competition. Affectionally known as ‘The Rats’ field four mens Grade teams, three Colts teams & a Women’s team ‘The Ratettes’.

Established in 1964 to supplement the established Warringah Junior Rugby Union, the club goal was to provide rugby opportunities for juniors, colts & grade players through to the 1st Division Premiership competition.
