Calgary, Alberta, Canada – 22nd April

Climb for Wilderness

The Climb for Wilderness goal is to increase awareness of wilderness, wildlife & waterways in Alberta. Providing learning opportunities & the challenge of climbing all 1188 stairs to raise funds for Alberta Wilderness Association. Known as the best Earth Day event in western Canada & attracts over 1000 individual participants & 150 volunteers every year.

Athens Orthopedic Clinic Twilight Criterium

Attracts cyclists from all over the nation & the world. The men’s pro-am criterium is an 80K race through downtown Athens, while the women’s pro-am criterium measures 40K. The course start-finish line is on Clayton Street at College Avenue.

Founded at Bluefield College in 1979 as a day off for students, prior to final exams, to celebrate another year of achievement. Featuring the mud pit, a water slide doused with water & oil, a rock wall, inflatable games, BBQ lunch, a mud obstacle course race, a corn-hole tournament & a lip sync competition.
