A mandala is a sacred circle, repeating patterns drawn over and over mesmerising the drawer-observer with their beauty, grace and colour.
In Mandala yoga we draw the sacred circle with our bodies: moving from the east to the south to the west to north to the east once more.
Using our whole body, opening to and honouring all the directions of the room, we gain a new perspective within our yoga practice. Going deeper and finding some of the missing pieces.
In this two hour workshop we will start with deep fascial stretching, move slowly and strongly into a mandala yoga flow before picking up the pace as we become familiar with the patterns, shapes and circular practice and finally releasing the mind and body in nourishing restorative poses giving us the time and space to relax into ourselves before taking our final resting pose, svasana, and allowing the practise to harmonise and release in our mind body.
Please don’t eat or have caffine for at least 2-3 hours before coming to practice.
Spaces limited to 12 people
