Laura Jones is a long distance runner, specialising in adventurous marathons. She started running from scratch just two years ago, and has since completed 7 of the World’s toughest races, including the Mount Everest Marathon, the Yukon Arctic Marathon, and the Patagonia Marathon.

Laura is passionate about adventure and her talk covers some of the amazing landscapes she’s run through, but also her approach, which is a little different to many competitors. Her outlook is that you should always run your own race, and not measure yourself against the other runners. Instead, it’s all about enjoying the journey in some incredible places, and appreciating all that the great outdoors has to offer.

She’ll also be sharing tips on things she learned while making the transition from non-runner to experienced marathon runner, including training, kit and mindset.
