Gridiron players on the field

1. Ballarat Gridiron

Ballarat Gridiron (a.k.a Ballarat American Football Club) was founded in 2012 with the formation of the Ballarat Falcons – who played their first season in Gridiron Victoria in 2013. In 2014, the Ballarat Falcons reached the Gridiron Victoria Division 2 championship game and the club’s Senior Women’s team, the Ballarat Kestrels played its inaugural season. We also plan to have a junior team ready to compete in the near future.

Ballarat Gridiron’s mission is to provide an organisation in Ballarat where interested members of the community can learn the fundamentals of gridiron, the importance of teamwork, discipline and responsibility while having fun and forging lasting friendships.

The Gippsland Gladiators Gridiron Club rose from the ashes of an old flag football team in October of 2010. Two of the original players, Buck Buchanan and Chris King, found themselves involved in something much larger than a casual Saturday game amongst friends when news of the new Gippsland gridiron team spread.
