What happens when you take the simple acts of breathing, moving and relaxing and give it more attention and intention? you have the start of dynamic and life-changing yoga practice…
Our bodies are designed by nature to breathe and move, they naturally bring energy in and out. Through yoga we can bring more attention and intention into this process, therefore, bringing greater potential to the energy that you bring into your life and your capacity to let life flow through and out of you.
This workshop integrates a dynamic blend of classic Yoga Asana (The Body/Earth), Pranayama (Breath/Air), Prana (Energy/Fire) Vinyasa (Movement/Water) and Pratyahara & Dharana (Attention & Focus/Ether) to offer an experiential sense of how we can integrate the parts of us into a deeper sense of wholeness and connection to life.
With over 15 years of experience, Richard Parker has developed a modern, unique and embodied approach to teaching Yoga. His movement style incorporates an exploration of natural body principles, inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, with an invigorating, dynamic and flowing sequence of Hatha Yoga postures. His approach helps us to recognise, release and move beyond the pre-conditioned habits of both our body and mind, by learning to tune into and trust in the body’s natural intelligence and ability to move freely and relax deeply; encouraging a sense of spaciousness, fluidity and strength from within.
Yoga mats are available to use.
