This class is a dynamic form of Vinyasa yoga, taught by the very special Erin Wen.Â
Erin Wen began learning yoga in 2008 and started teaching after obtaining her 200 hour Vinyasa certification and undergoing an apprenticeship for the 26 hot yoga postures at Yoga to the People in New York City.
After 3 years of teaching and managing several different yoga studios, she traveled to India for a year of intensive training with several teachers. During her time in India she studied at the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Center in Dharamsala and the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai.
Combining her experience in yoga with her current studies in osteopathy, Erin teaches a dynamic class focusing on integrating proper alignment with the breath. She recognizes the unique condition of each student’s body, and finds ways of meeting students where they are at, in order to make the most of their strengths and work on their weaknesses.
Through her unique and informed approach of understanding the human body, Erin challenges each student to practice at their best and pursue a deeper self-awareness of body and mind.
