3. Bloor St. Boxing & Fitness
Founded in 1994 by former national lightweight champion Paul Ryan, Bloor St. began as a non-profit organization helping at-risk youth off the streets. From its humble beginnings, the gym has grown into a fully equipped, two-level boxing & fitness centre.
Featuring a full-size ring, originally from New York City’s Time Square where Mohammed Ali & Rocky Marciano fought in 1969. BSF is a no-attitude neighbourhood gym, with a dedicated staff & amazing members.

4. Kingsway Boxing
Operating out of two locations, The Fitness Studio at Royal York Rd & Bloor St West & The Boxing Gym just north of the Gardiner at Islington. Separate locations allow for a range of people with varying ambitions to accomplish any goal. Kingsway runs competitive boxing programs out of the Boxing Gym, while hosting fitness & recreational programs out of both locations.

5. Sully’s Boxing Gym
For over 70 years, Sully’s has been home to famous Canadian boxers, including George Chuvalo, Clyde Gray, Fern Bull & Lennox Lewis. Even the legendary Muhammed Ali trained at Sully’s. They offer fitness & boxing classes for men, women & children (ages 7+). All children & ladies classes are taught by Tony Morrison, former Heavy Weight Champion of Canada.

6. The Toronto Newsgirls Boxing Club
Providing a safe & positive environment for women & trans people to explore the art of boxing. Their women’s program is tailored to their members. People come into the program with goals, whether it’s just getting into shape or becoming the next Laila Ali. They work with members to achieve their goals. It only takes two words to describe the approach to fitness at Centre Ring, tough & love. The tough is a rigorous hour-long workout combining cardio, strength & hand-eye coordination.
