7. Putney Running Club

Putney Running Club was founded in January 2015 because there wasn’t a club that met our needs. If you ever run around Putney you will see hundreds of people all running alone down the river or in the park. Putney Running Club was started to bring together people who enjoy running and provide a social group where people can support and push each other to achieve things they would struggle to do alone.

Paddington Recreation Ground offers a fantastic selection of facilities and activities for everyone. The Parliament Hill Athletics Track is a Class A site and includes an eight-lane, all-weather running track. Parliament Hill Track is located at Parliament Hill, Highgate Road, London, NW5 1QR. A 90 metre, six-lane track is also available during the summer at Hampstead Heath Extension for sports days and practice sessions.

An athletics track and clubhouse surrounded by the Sutcliffe Park Nature Reserve, the track has undergone a range of facility improvements in the last few years with more on the horizon. The athletics provision is currently graded by the UKA as a Class A standard facility, and plays host to a full range of events during the season from school sports days to National League meets.
