5. New York Collegiate Baseball League

Founded in 1978, the NYCBL is a summer wood bat development league for professional baseball. Major League Baseball funds a small part of their annual budget. The league provides college players who have not signed a pro contract the opportunity to develop skills at a high level of play. While gaining experience with wood bats & being evaluated by scouts.

Teams play a 46 game regular season, from May 30th to late July. Games are 9 innings, with doubleheaders scheduled as two 9 inning games. The All-Star game is played in July & the League Championship Series concludes in August.

6. New Jersey Amateur Baseball League

An adult baseball league (18+), playing mostly on Sundays. Their goal is to offer a complete amateur league experience in NJ, with benefits including a pro stadium All Star Game, double elimination playoff structure, mobile technology, free agent team placement, clinics & more to enhance the experience. Spring regular season is 18 games on Sundays from April through July, with playoffs on Saturdays & Sundays starting late in July. Offeing 3 competitive wood leagues, balanced to suit level of talent & promote fair play throughout the league.

7. Hudson Valley NABA

A competitive wood bat baseball league for players 17+. offering players a complete amateur package at the lowest price possible. 2 levels of play allow players of any skill level to compete & enjoy the game. Games are played on Sundays at some of the best fields in Hudson Valley. Their premier division is among the most competitive divisions in the country & plays a 24 game regular season from April – August. With a best of 3 playoff series format in September. Rec division plays a 12 game season from June – August with a single elimination playoff format in September. All games in both divisions are 9 innings & both championships are played at Dutchess Stadium.

Among the fastest growing adult baseball organizations in America, the NABA is organized nationally by age groups. Their league plays under a set of rules designed to organize amateur baseball leagues into consistent, fairly run & responsible baseball programs. Stressing sportsmanship, fair play and&participation.

The Rochester NABA offers an 18+ Premier Division, 18+ Open Division & a 28+ Division. The season begins in May & runs through mid-August. Their 18+ Premier & 28+ Division play on weeknights & weekends, while our 18+ Open Division plays Sunday doubleheaders.
