Not only does Deborah train as a crossfitter she also competes at the CrossFit Games. Her story has inspired many people around the world by having lymphedema, a condition of localised fluid retention and tissue swelling caused by a compromised lymphatic system.

Krystal lost her arm in a car crash but kept her spirit and now she inspires people all over the world to never give up and to never lose focus on your goals because anything’s possible if you put your mind to it. Today she is a CrossFit athlete and level 1 coach.

Third fittest woman on Earth, 2015 Meridian Regional champion and a Nike athlete. With CrossFit not being so popular in Iceland (Sara home country) she did not let this stop her from becoming the third fittest woman on the planet.

With over 121k followers on Instagram Kara should definitely be on your list of female CrossFitters to follow. Kara showed her strength in 2014, while leading the games leaderboard for a solid amount of time. She had to later step down due to injuries.

12.Julie Foucher

Julie is an American CrossFit athlete and medical student. She has competed in the CrossFit Games four times, and has historically been one of the most successful women in the sport. Across her four Games appearances, Foucher has never finished outside the top 5. She has twice finished on the podium, earning 2nd in 2012 and 3rd in 2014. Foucher was a favorite in 2015, but was not able to compete after tearing her Achilles tendon during the season’s second qualifying stage.
