8. Hornsey Cricket Club

Our firsts play the highest standard league of amateur level cricket in North London, and we have had many international and county cricketers play for us in the past, including Ed Joyce, Neil Williams, Wilf Slack and Trent Johnstone. Founded in 1877 and still going strong, with 5 Men’s Saturday Middlesex League teams and a Women’s Middlesex League team, playing at our two beautiful grounds, located within the Shepherds Cot conservation area and yet still within easy reach of the City & West End of London. We are a friendly team based around Battersea, Balham, Brixton, Tooting, Wimbledon, Richmond, Wandsworth, Clapham and Streatham.
